Garden Furniture

Hoping that the sun will have a hat on, we are heading towards the days of long evenings in the garden.  The barbeque season is close by and pretty much waits to be finally opened with a glass of wine and candlelight so that we can sit outside in a cozy chair next to our partner and enjoy the warmness of a good night.
The desire to escape into the garden has existed for centuries rooting back to tea parties of the Victorian Age, which was known for very SCHNÖRKELIGE Tables and benches and even further. It’s always been a place for us to create a separated world and to hide the perceived grayness of the world behind colourful flours and evergreen trees.

Furniture for the garden surely exists in many forms and functions. Starting with stretchable tables to be seated at and have adequate dinners as well as small tables which can be used as additional spaces to place drinks or flowers on.
Next to tables there are wide benches for 2 to 3 persons which either fit a garden table or are stand-alone to be placed in a remote area of the garden that the user is not distracted by anything when he sits outside. The most luxurious garden bench would be a porch swing as it offers the user the possibility to swing smoothly forward and backward while for example reading a book. Many users swear that there is no activity which was more relaxing than sitting outside on a porch and read while moving very slowly.

Other important furniture which one will find in any garden is chair – ranging from simple garden chairs to extravagant masterpieces. Buying such a chair depends primarily on the available space a customer has. If the chair is supposed to be part on a small group of a table and chairs for the balcony one has to consider the limit of space available on the balcony and how much could be given up for a relaxing, but bulky SESSEL. To finish the little product introduction one should not forget LIEGEN. It is absolutely recommendable that those are equipped with LEHNE which provide leverage flexibility and to be equipped with two tires in order to facilitate moving.

Garden furniture is most appropriately built if it is produced out of massive woods, aluminum, stainless steel or other corrosion protected metals as well as plastics. Each material has advantages and downsides – wood represents the most traditional flair of a garden, metal needs very intensive maintenance. Metals are easy to handle, but has the disadvantage of heaviness and a appearing which some might call “too modern”. Plastics, on the other hand, are very cheap and often even buyable in sales actions of supermarkets – nevertheless it has always been placed as a low cost product that cannot compete with the sturdiness and the perceived silence of massive furniture of wood or steel.  In the end it comes down to matching furniture with the overall appearance of the garden. Mostly, it is recommendable to ask an expert about his advice before investing heavily in furniture which turns out to be of little satisfaction.
